Mission Statement
We believe that every woman, young and old, should study God’s Word, and that we were all created to worship God, in spirit and in truth. We provide a safe environment for women to sit and rejoice at the feet of Jesus, while applying the principles of the first century church. Together we study God’s Word, worship Him in song, fellowship, and minister to each other with prayer, in the agape love of Jesus. We strive to enable all to be equipped to minister to our families, friends and community.
The Women Of the Word (WOW) Bible Study meets Mondays at 9:30am and 6:30pm. On Monday, September 22nd, 2025, we will resume our weekly Bible Study at CCJV, in person and via Zoom. Join us to worship, pray, and fellowship, as we continue our study through the Book of Romans.
The Women’s Ministry also hosts various special events and outings, which will be announced separately throughout the year. If you are interested in participating in the WOW Bible Study or any of the Women’s Ministry meetings and/or events, please contact Connie Rondeau, Director of Women’s Ministry, or Elisa Marco Méndez, Women’s Ministry Leader and Administrator, at (951) 685-1180 or at: servant@calvarychapeljurupavalley.com.
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. “ 2 Timothy 2:15

During the summer break, from June to September 2025, we proudly introduced our new study group, Lilies and Sparrows Book Club, which began Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, at 6:30pm.
The Lilies and Sparrows Book Club meets Tuesdays at 6:30pm in person at CCJV or via Zoom. We will read and study Kay Smith’s book, “Reflecting God,” as we fellowship, worship, and pray together. Kay Smith teaches about the godly attribute necessary to reflect the very image of God in our Christian walk.
The Lilies and Sparrows Book Club will conclude on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, at 6:30pm.
