The Hospital Ministry provides spiritual care and support to patients, residents, families, and staff within a hospital or residential care center setting. It is a ministry that extends beyond the walls of the hospital or treatment facility, offering a variety of resources to the broader community. The Hospital Ministry focuses on addressing the spiritual needs of individuals facing illness, injury, or other challenges within a hospital or residential care center environment.
Ministry personnel, working in conjunction with hospital and care staff, offer spiritual counseling, visitation, and prayer support to patients, residents, and their families; as well as assisting families with grief and loss counseling and services.

“For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these, My brethren, you did it to Me.’” Matthew 25:35-36, 40
