Children’s Ministry

Growth in Grace—“I pray that my children may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18

Our teachers at CCJV’s Children’s Ministry take God’s Word to heart. Through the guidance of God’s Holy Spirit, we will lead the children on a journey of truth, as we aim to nurture growth in their faith in Jesus Christ. John 15:5 tells us that as we abide in Christ, He abides in us, and the same brings forth much fruit. God’s ultimate goal is for all to come to Christ- to know, believe, and receive His salvation; and for all believers to become more Christ-like. As we teach through the Gospels of Jesus Christ, we believe by faith that the fruits of His Spirit take root in the lives of the children who participate in our groups.

We aim to water the children’s faith with God’s Word, and help them better understand the Scriptures, to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, as God leads us. We encourage you to bring your children to our various groups and events, and to even sit in with them and see for yourself how Jesus teaches His children through the loving devotion of our teachers.
